Getting Started

We begin the 4.5 mile terrifying trail at Great Yarmouth Train Station, NR30 1SD (Grid Ref: TG 5199 0807).

The Route

This walk will take you from the ancient fishing port of Great Yarmouth out into the flats of Breydon Water along the Angles Way long distance walking trail which will bring you to the ruins of the old Roman fort at Burgh Castle. An area steeped in history as well as abundant in wildlife, there is much to spot in the wider horizon including the many mills dotted around the landscape such as the iconic Berney Arms Mill, just across the River Yare.
