Getting Started
The route starting point is at a small parking area on Stones Road, NR13 3GX Grid Ref: TG 4335 0660.

The Route
Our flagship trail which encircles the iconic marshlands of Halvergate, will take you along farm tracks, river banks and pass over a myriad of ditches and dykes. Passing by the numerous mills along this walk and seeing many more in the wider landscape is what makes this area so unique. Spot a variety of marshland inhabitants on your journey from grazing Cows to darting Dragonflies to soaring Marsh Harriers, every turn has a surprise in store.
On this walk, there is a stile, kissing gates and areas of uneven ground but the majority of the walk is flat. Sections of the walk pass through fields where cattle may be grazing so take care and follow the countryside code. The walk also passes two train crossings so take extra care and follow crossing instructions.
