The Route

From Hardley Dyke follow the footpath sign across the fields where Barn owls can often be seen hunting. Continue through the village, then along roads and tracks around to Langley Abbey before continuing to Langley Dyke staithe. Follow the dyke to the River Yare and follow the riverside footpath past the restored Hardley Wind Pump, and then back to Hardley Dyke.

There are no stiles and the gradients are relatively flat, making this walk fairly easy going. The nearest toilets and facilities are in Loddon and why not take a well earned stop at the Swan Inn.
