Make Your Own ‘Mill Zine’ Competition
To celebrate National Mills Weekend (8th & 9th May 2021) we would like to invite all ages to make your own ‘Mill Zine’.
A zine, pronounced zeen, is a self made, eight page booklet created from one sheet of paper using a variety of materials to illustrate a particular subject or thing that is special to you. Using any materials or media style you like, such as drawings, magazine and newspaper cuttings, or even sticking on natural or recycled materials you might have lying around, we would like you to create your own zine about your favourite mill in the Broads and why it is so significant or special to you.

Send in your photos of your mill zine, with your name and age, to watermillsandmarshes@gmail.com by the 7th June 2021. We will pick two winners and our chosen favourites will each receive a Broads ‘goody bag’.
In addition to being in for a chance of bagging yourself a prize, if you send us your original zine or a photocopy of your zine, we will submit it to the Norwich Millennium Library to be included in their newly formed Zine Library. (See poster below for more details)
Send your copies to:
Water, Mills and Marshes Competition, Broads Authority, Yare House, 62-64 Thorpe Rd, Norwich, NR1 1RY
