Trails

This collection of walks has been compiled to create a ‘go to’ for walking in the Broads. There are walks from a host of organisations including the Broads Authority, Norfolk County Council and Suffolk County Council. Most of the walks are circular, although some are linear or go from station to station. All the walks’ descriptions include details such as distances, how to get there, facilities available and a downloadable map. There is limited waymarking on some routes, so it is advised that you take a map with you. There may be temporary closures on the walks and issues such as furniture damage or overgrown footpaths should be reported to the relevant authority.

Remember that depending on the season you may encounter wet and muddy conditions or long vegetation, so dress accordingly. Please respect natural habitats as you walk, stay on any waymarked paths and take litter home. Routes may pass through areas grazed by livestock so please follow the countryside code for advice on this.
